April Athlete of the Month
Danielle is one of SODO’s longest-running members. She’s seen a ton of changes, and has stuck it out. (We appreciate that so much!!!) We also appreciate that even after four years, Danielle still has the drive to improve. She embodies the everyday better attitude!
How long have you been at SODO?
I started in December 2013.
What inspired you to start?
I started because it was raining and I was injured so I needed an indoor activity.
What makes you stick with it?
I stuck with it because of the people I met at the 6 a.m. class. They encouraged me to get better.
What’s your favorite movement?
My favorite movement is anything on the bar. I like pullups, including kipping, butterfly, and chest-to-bar, and toes-to-bar.
What’s your current health- or fitness-related goal?
My current fitness goal is to lose 30 pounds.
What do you do for fun?
For fun I ski, visit breweries, and drink wine.
Any advice for newcomers?
Advice for newbees is not to quit. Ask for help, everyone is willing to help out. Come to social events, it’s the best way to really get to know everyone.
